The Annual
Well Monday I decided to visit the doctor for my annual health visit. Since I had the day off, I thought I'd make some use of it. After all the tests and examinations were over, my provider Carol Ladle gave me a little paper with some thoughts on it. I liked them so much I thought I'd put them in the blogspot for others to see. Here are some of them:
No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
Forgive everyone for everything *(I like that one)
What other people think of you is none of your business (true)
However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
Your job won't take care of you when you're sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful, or joyful. (For all those who need to declutter.)
The best is yet to come.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up.
Do the right thing.
Each night before you go to bed, compile the following statements: I am thankful for. . . and Today I accomplished. . .
Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
Life isn't fair, but it is still good.
Make peace with your past, so that it won't mess up the present.
Don't compare your life with others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
Just some food for thought.
