Monkey Falls

Last week Kimball wanted to go to Monkey Falls.



One monkey, two pretty ladies. :)
Kyler and Holdem enjoyed throwing rocks in the water best of all. The water was freezing cold but they liked it anyway!

Hi Jan, I hope you are having a great summer! Jade has been begging me to come and visit your Blog. What a FUN style you have and I love how much you enjoy life and love you family!

You're an awesome woman and grandma and what a blessing it is to have your kids and grandkids so close to be able to enjoy so may wonderful activities together!

BTW...where is "Monkey Falls"? I have never heard of it.

Monkey Falls is just North of Newdale. You turn left at that little store there on main street and go a 1/2 mile and turn left. It is down the road on the South side.
BTW, I really enjoyed working with Jade. He is such a fun young man and a talented artist. We all loved his cartoon sketches of us. I hope he has a good time at the new high school. He reminded me that I had to stay at the old stinky school one more year! :)
I love your blogspot too. So fun to read and I like your recipes. I'm sure Jade told you I don't eat flour or sugar but I get company and I usually cook some special things for them. Thanks for sharing your life and family on the web!

Covid-19 What a bummer! Such a crazy time we are living in! So many businesses shut down, panic buying, social distancing, and sad disappointments for high school and college graduates. Schools online, teachers stressed out, parents wondering what the new school year will look like, making masks, wearing masks and trying to keep sane during all this! So I guess we all have to deal with it. We are still making improvements to our home and taking care of the yard. We are blessed to live in rural Idaho where we can buy meat from local farmers and make our own bread (if we get energetic). That's what it's like right now. So I try to stick to a schedule, avoid baking yummy treats (cause I'll eat them), and pray for strength to carry on even though I might not be in the mood to do anything. That's what it's like today.
