
I couldn't help myself. . . I really like the
Vera Bradley purses because they are so colorful and fun looking and very well made. This is my version of a knockoff.

I found a pattern I liked and bought some quilted fabric at Hancock Fabric in IF. I spent $25 BUT it will make two purses. I was bummed about spending that much but as I laid out the pattern pieces I realized it would make two.

This is what I came up with. It actually looks different from the pattern because I made some changes. I have been using a green diaper bag as a purse because I liked all the pockets! Sewing knowledge comes in handy once in a while. It will do for now until I can afford a Vera. . .
