Fourteen Orange Babies

We picked fourteen of these cute pumpkins from our garden. Dale always likes us to can these for pies, breads or cookies. I like eating squash with with cinnamon and sweetener.
I love the yellow and orange blended colors.

It takes an hour in the oven. Since I was off a half day, this was my project. Tomorrow, the golden solution goes into the jars. Work? Yea but worth it.

Spending Diary

I just wanted to mention something really helpful I found on the internet. I was going through some old magazine clippings I had saved and saw this article on budgeting. In it, was this little blurb for a website called spendingdiary.com . I tried it out and so far, really good! I just type in my expenditures for the day and it puts it on a spreadsheet! Dave Ramsey always talks about knowing how much you spend so this is going to be my little tool for doing that. Try it out. You might find it helpful too!

DI Update

I found this jacket/shirt at DI for $4.00. It was a good blue color and the fabric was like a suede. So I did what my daughter taught me to do...I cut off the collar! Now it is a mandarin style neckline and will go better when I put it on over my other shirts. Kinda fun and I didn't worry about ruining it since it only cost $4! Try updating your shirts!
