We had a lot of snow this weekend. Good thing we have the snowblower! Zane tried to buy one for his new home and found the stores were sold out of this Idaho necesity. Oh, by the way, how many guys does it take to get a little red car out of a show drift? All 7 of them couldn't make it budge. The neighbor had to get a little bobcat over there to pull it out. Even our next door neighbor's hummer got stuck. Oops!

DI Update
I found this jacket/shirt at DI for $4.00. It was a good blue color and the fabric was like a suede. So I did what my daughter taught me to do...I cut off the collar! Now it is a mandarin style neckline and will go better when I put it on over my other shirts. Kinda fun and I didn't worry about ruining it since it only cost $4! Try updating your shirts!
Vera Bradley Knockoff
I couldn't help myself. . . I really like the Vera Bradley purses because they are so colorful and fun looking and very well made. This is my version of a knockoff. I found a pattern I liked and bought some quilted fabric at Hancock Fabric in IF. I spent $25 BUT it will make two purses. I was bummed about spending that much but as I laid out the pattern pieces I realized it would make two. This is what I came up with. It actually looks different from the pattern because I made some changes. I have been using a green diaper bag as a purse because I liked all the pockets! Sewing knowledge comes in handy once in a while. It will do for now until I can afford a Vera. . .
