I really like this picture that Rilee made for me. I had it pasted above our gifts for a makeshift tree. Thanks Rilee. I love your drawings.

We had a lot of snow this weekend. Good thing we have the snowblower! Zane tried to buy one for his new home and found the stores were sold out of this Idaho necesity. Oh, by the way, how many guys does it take to get a little red car out of a show drift? All 7 of them couldn't make it budge. The neighbor had to get a little bobcat over there to pull it out. Even our next door neighbor's hummer got stuck. Oops!

I just wanted to show the doilie that Dale's secretary Kaye made for us for Christmas. I don't know how they do that but I think it is amazing! What a nice thing she did.

O Christmas Tree

Image
Well, not exactly a pine tree but it had fit the bill this year. We couldn't find our trees so we just used our decorative tree minus the lights. Maybe next year it will be better!

Food is always a great gift. Mandy ordered this for us from Broulims and I grabbed the pears when I saw them. Yummy fruit!
Image
Pictures from Lori's last craft show. A bomb! Not the right place (IF Library) to sell such cute items that she makes. You go girl!

Angel Maker

Image
When Faye was over on Sunday she wanted to play outside. I asked her to make me some angels in my front yard. She willingly complied.

An amazingly long garage for Zane. Saturday they took me to IF with them to make a final inspection of the house they want. Happy Faye showing me the bathroom. This kitchen is one I would like! Corner sink, lots of cupboards, and plenty of countertop! Talking with the realtor. Zane and Victoria are moving there today. I think it is an awesome home complete with a theatre room downstairs!

Uno Champs

Image
Playing Uno with free time at school. Belinda's last day was Friday. She's moving with her husband to Washington next week. Jaden enjoyed beating her at the game, his favorite thing to do.

Policeman

Image
Dale got a new jacket...from the City of Rexburg Police Dept. The reflective tape makes it so he doesn't get hit by a car when making an accident report. Very important safety feature!
Image
Dessert cake we ordered at Dale's work party. Dinner was at the Hard Hat in Rexburg which gave us a very nice average sized meal and the dessert was humongous! Dale wanted to eat the whole thing but we opted instead to give Zane and his family most of it. I hear the huckleberry ice cream was pretty good too.

Here's Proof

Image
Dale helped me by cleaning the bathroom. We take turns now because there's just the two of us. No children around to get the house cleaned. :(

Portrait of Jan

Image
Would you believe this is a picture of me drawn by one of our students Jade? He sits in class and does funny drawings of people. He wanted to spotlight my style ie: the purse, necklace, bracelets, etc. I was just grateful he didn't draw my wrinkles! I like it!

Carolers

Image
Our first carolers of the season came December 8. This is a group called "Have Fun." It is a non-profit group for special needs children and their families.

Kyler's 3rd birthday was on Sunday the 14th and here's the gang who attended. The Cake... the top had a 4-wheeler and a couple jumps. Kyler couldn't wait to play with the 4-wheeler.

Sunset

Image
Another beautiful Idaho sunset. This was from a couple weeks ago... now we have white stuff everywhere.

Giant Cake

Image
Dale is overlooking the dessert we ordered at the Hard Hat in Rexburg. It was insanely large. Enough for 6 people. He ordered the huckleberry ice cream and from what I hear, it was pretty good. Dale ate what he wanted and we took the rest to share with Zane and his family. I think Dale would have eaten the whole thing if we weren't all looking with astonished faces!

Green Canyon

Image
Taylor swimming at Green Canyon the day after Thanksgiving. Cole and his little man Holdem. Cole always loved swimming and I imagine Holdem will too. Dallan said that it would probably be the last time up at Green Canyon...the changing room is nasty he thinks!

Our Version of Black Friday

Image
The day after Thanksgiving, Zane suggested we go to Leo's in IF. It was a lot of fun for the children. This isFaye, Matthew, and Taylor in the play area and they loved running around. I watched Holdem so Cole could play lazer tag. The results of the lazer game. Zane, Dale, Cole, and Dallan. They came out sweaty and pumped up! The girls waiting for the guys to finish. Evey, Natalie, baby Lily, Me (Jan), Victoria, and Peyton.

First we went to the Turkey Choir Concert. This is me with Taylor. She was checking out the program. Natalie came with Taylor, Matthew, and Evey. Dallan was watching baby Lily at home. Our smoked turkey...I sure like the smoker! Thanks Lori. Dale taking over the slicing of the bird. Three cute girls- Evey, Taylor, and Faye. So nice to sit with great company.
