Canning pumpkins was the first thing Dale and I canned together as a young couple. It was his idea to puchase the pressure cooker so many years ago and we still use it today.

I love the orange color. We ended up with 23 pints of pumpkin for our storage.


Of course, I wasn't without my blunder...the pumpkin seeds got burnt because I forgot to set the timer! (I had to throw them away :( Bummer!
