Easter

Image
I did something fun today. I thought I'd do the traditional "color the eggs" thing instead of buying a lot of candy. I enjoy coloring eggs and will probably have that for my Easter tradition since it makes them look so pretty. I made Dad a little Easter basket out of a blue paper bag. I hope he likes it! (There aren't that many jelly beans in it this year!)

New Presidency

Well, I was given another calling... Relief Society Secretary. I am excited about working with the ladies and yet feeling that I need a week just to get organized. Plus, I was asked before I knew about this calling to teach the lesson this Sunday. Boy, I've had a lot to think about! Here is the new presidency: Nancy Meyers (1st Counselor), Janie Fisher (President), Patty Abel (2nd Counselor), and me Secretary. I think I'll have plenty to keep me busy!

Marg to Hawaii!

Marg and family are going to Hawaii this Saturday for a week. Wow! Awesome! Have lots of fun Marg, Rick, Andrew and Danny while you visit Cam and Tyson. The closest I will be to Hawaii this week is when I go visiting teaching to a sister who is from that lovely state. She teaches hula here and has a passion for life. Have a great time Marg!

Stella in Idaho

Mandy's Stella scooter got here today. She sent it so that she could ride it this summer when she comes. Ah, I think Dale likes it too and is hoping the weather warms up so he can take it on a test drive... :)

January Dale-March Dale

What a difference 20 lbs makes! Actually, you may not be able to see the results as I can in real lif but this is Dale in January and March. He has decided to eat what I eat which means no flour and no sugar products, 3 beautiful meals a day with plenty of veggies, and we weigh and measure our food. He has lost a couple inches in his wasteline and his pants are getting baggy. He isn't ready to commit to exercise but will be riding his bike to work as soon as the roads get better. I think he looks good. I feel great with this plan but he doesn't admit to that right now. I'm very proud of him! :)
