Kyler was visiting our place last Friday and so we put him in the tub with Gladys. They had fun splashing and blowing bubbles. Gladys really likes to be with Kyler.

Father's Day

Image
For Father's day I bought Dale a mini-tiller. It is so user friendly and fun to use! Starts like a charm. I even used it to go over the garden. I think I'll be out in the garden more now that it will look better because of the mini-tiller. This is called "small town fun!"

Trip to Utah

Image
On May 26 we were down to visit Dallan and Natalie. Dallan was putting pavers in his patio so Dale helped him and it really is a very nice looking area. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. That evening we went for a walk. Dale and Dallan shot a few golf balls while we watched the children throw rocks in the water. This is Gladys and Evey playing together. Mandy is having a good time too!

This is Mandy and Gladys (who are staying with us for a couple months) with the bedtime story. We are having a nice time together and I can't help but enjoy doing Gladys's hair with all those beautiful natural curls! I always had to give my girls perms when they were young to get any curls!

Weekend of fun

Image
Saturday started out with service at the church. Here is Dallan helping to clean up the RS room. He was nice to come and help us. Mary Nelson is in the background. Dallan enjoyed riding the Stella Mandy. But we didn't let him take it with him to Utah. We have to enjoy it here this summer! Here I am with the big vacuum. It was actually fun to do. Cole and Jenna make a cute couple, don't they? We had lunch at their place on Saturday. They were kind enough to host us all. Burgers, salad, chips, jello and cookies were on the menu. Here is Natalie with the girls feeding the ducks at the green belt in If. Dallan and Matt are in the background. I think Dallan got some good audio for his blogspot.

Easter

Image
I did something fun today. I thought I'd do the traditional "color the eggs" thing instead of buying a lot of candy. I enjoy coloring eggs and will probably have that for my Easter tradition since it makes them look so pretty. I made Dad a little Easter basket out of a blue paper bag. I hope he likes it! (There aren't that many jelly beans in it this year!)

New Presidency

Image
Well, I was given another calling... Relief Society Secretary. I am excited about working with the ladies and yet feeling that I need a week just to get organized. Plus, I was asked before I knew about this calling to teach the lesson this Sunday. Boy, I've had a lot to think about! Here is the new presidency: Nancy Meyers (1st Counselor), Janie Fisher (President), Patty Abel (2nd Counselor), and me Secretary. I think I'll have plenty to keep me busy!
