Here is Rexburg's new library. It is pretty fancy. Dale and I rode our bikes to check it out. We had beautiful weather today which was nice. They have the new section done and now they are working on the old part. Should be completely done in the fall. Yippee!

Support is Always Welcome.

Here we are with Sue our Financial Peace University facilitator. She works at Beehive Credit Union and did a good job leading the class in discussions. Lori did a good job facilitating good. Our house was paid off on June 18, 2010. To share with us the happy day was Lori and children Madison, Rilee, and Kyler. In front of Kyler is Holdem and Cole, his papa, is behind me. Yep, we were pretty excited. Special thanks to Dallan, my son who got me hooked on the Dave Ramsey podcasts and Marg, my sister, who always encouraged us to keep going (she has been out of debt for a LONG time so she knows it is a good thing.) Also, thanks to my other children Mandy and Zane who cheered us on. We finally made it! Now we need to keep going on with the baby steps.

WE MADE IT!

Finally debt free thanks to the Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey1 Our last mortgage payment- several Ben Franklins and a few $20 bills. The teller marked our receipt "PAID IN FULL!" (Pardon Dale's lack of expression. . . he was sleep deprived.) This is what a debt free house looks like. The sign on the lawn says "We're Debt FREE!" Anyone may borrow it if they want. We'd love to pass it around. We have truly been blessed.

Look Closely

We are almost there! only 9 more blocks to color in. We should be debt free by June 20th. Happy Father's Day Dale!

Yardsale Delight

I found this keyboard at a YARD SALE a week ago! Yippee! I was pretty happy to have music in the house again. This is cool because the price was right and it is just the right size of keyboard for me. I don't play that well but it is nice to sit down and plunk out a few hymns once in a while. I never would have seen this if I hadn't been helping out at the food co-op. A tender mercy because of service. :)

Countdown

Ok. Ready for this? It is now $1795 to go. Can you tell? We're pretty excited!
