This is proof that we do play games once in a while. We had some fun playing UNO after lunch on Sunday. Not a great shot of everyone but next time I'll get the tripod!

Ship Shape Guys!

Dale had a great time on the USS Abraham Lincoln with Kelvin. After listening to Dale's experience, I now know where they get the term "ship shape" from. . . Dale said everything was soooo clean! The ship was huge and weighed 410,000 tons or 3 football fields long! About 5-6,000 people were on the ship. He got lost a couple times but still survived. There were three cafeterias to serve meals, dentist office, hospital or sick bay area, etc. Just like a little city moving on the ocean. Hopefully soon Dale will make a slide show about his time on ship.

This is a very cool closet! This is where Dallan's wife Natalie, does all her crafting. She is amazing! Any spare moment (and there aren't a lot when you have a young family) she sits in this area and makes cards, baby gifts, or items that need sewing. And when she's done, she cleans up and shuts the doors. Great idea Natalie!
Piano Man

Recently while visiting in Utah I caught Dallan playing a hymn on their piano. First of all, it is nice to see my grown children still playing piano (since we had such fun trying to get them to practice when younger!), and it was nice to hear the music. Taylor is learning to play the piano too and I enjoyed practicing with her. Funny how you get older and things that were such a task with your own children become more enjoyable when it is the grandchildren :).

General Conference with Virl and Peggy. I happened to find a seat right next to Virl's brother-in-law. What a small world! Mandy made the decorations, aren't they cute? Gladys in a good mood :) Our tour of the SLC Airport on Sept 29th. That was kind of fun to see what goes on behind the security doors. Don't ask me why I wore a silky blouse!
