This is proof that we do play games once in a while. We had some fun playing UNO after lunch on Sunday. Not a great shot of everyone but next time I'll get the tripod!

This is Zane and Victoria's youngest daughter Peyton. She enjoyed it when Faye was done making cookies. She likes all kinds of foods. Who doesn't like chocolate?

Ship Shape Guys!

Image
Dale had a great time on the USS Abraham Lincoln with Kelvin. After listening to Dale's experience, I now know where they get the term "ship shape" from. . . Dale said everything was soooo clean! The ship was huge and weighed 410,000 tons or 3 football fields long! About 5-6,000 people were on the ship. He got lost a couple times but still survived. There were three cafeterias to serve meals, dentist office, hospital or sick bay area, etc. Just like a little city moving on the ocean. Hopefully soon Dale will make a slide show about his time on ship.

Cool Closet

Image
This is a very cool closet! This is where Dallan's wife Natalie, does all her crafting. She is amazing! Any spare moment (and there aren't a lot when you have a young family) she sits in this area and makes cards, baby gifts, or items that need sewing. And when she's done, she cleans up and shuts the doors. Great idea Natalie!

Piano Man

Image
Recently while visiting in Utah I caught Dallan playing a hymn on their piano. First of all, it is nice to see my grown children still playing piano (since we had such fun trying to get them to practice when younger!), and it was nice to hear the music. Taylor is learning to play the piano too and I enjoyed practicing with her. Funny how you get older and things that were such a task with your own children become more enjoyable when it is the grandchildren :).

Grandma Jan and Baby Lily

Little Lily with me trying out the new IPOD Dale bought. I listened to Dave Ramsey podcasts all the way home to Idaho! Thanks to Dallan and Natalie.

Peyton Zonked Out

Image
Peyton is zonked out. After I told Zane the wrong time for church, they stopped by for a visit and after a few minutes, this is what Peyton looked like.

While I was in Utah for Gen Conf. I was able to see Evey at her dance class. Very cute! She seemed to enjoy it until the end when she was a little tired.

General Conference

Image
I asked a volunteer on the grounds to take a picture for me. I wanted to remember being able to attend General Conference Saturday afternoon session. Of course it was raining, but it wasn't too cold. Thanks Bishop Wright for the tickets. I think Virl and Peggy had a nice time too.

Sisters

Image
I thought this was a cute picture of Lori and Mandy. It is so nice to see my children happy together!

Cookie Time

Image
Faye came over along with Rilee and Madison so we pulled out the cookie dough package. It is so nice having Zane and Victoria here!

That's Crafty

Image
These are some of the items I'm going to try to sell at the craft show on Nov 1st. Thanks Mandy for picking out the paint colors.

Big smiles before parting. The hair bows are going to be featured in the Craft Show. Have fun in D.C. Mandy, Kelvin and Gladys. We miss you!

Toddler Cousins

Here we have Kyler Ward, Holdem Wright, and Gladys Gumbs hanging out at Lori's house, eating treats.

Conference, Gladys, and SLC Airport

Image
General Conference with Virl and Peggy. I happened to find a seat right next to Virl's brother-in-law. What a small world! Mandy made the decorations, aren't they cute? Gladys in a good mood :) Our tour of the SLC Airport on Sept 29th. That was kind of fun to see what goes on behind the security doors. Don't ask me why I wore a silky blouse!
