Lori and family came over for a visit the other night. Kyler just had a diaper change and wanted to show his joy with a dance. So here he is!

(Birthday Cake is really wax.)

We thought we'd share a little of our day with you. We had fun in Idaho Falls looking for a dishwasher and getting groceries. I just like being with Dale. He is one great guy. He took me to lunch at a fun place-- the Mongolian Grill. It was vegelicious!

Say "Cheese"

This is Matthew my grandson. Last year I took this video and have been wanting to do something with it so I finally did. He's a pretty cute little guy. Good for a smile! Count how many times he says "Cheese."

Sunday

Image
(This is Bishop Rydalch and his wife Mary) Sunday is such a nice day. Our ward meets this year at 8:30 am and it is working out good. They announced from the pulpit today that we will be getting a new bishopric next week and it will also be ward conference. I was kind of sad about that because we all love Bishop Rydalch and his counselors. He has served unselfishly for five years and it was time for the release. I'll have to update this blog next Sunday to announce who was called. Other than that, we were set apart last Wednesday to be ordinance workers in the Rexburg Temple when it opens. We will work Thursdays from 4-10 pm. We will thoroughly enjoy that. This week Dale will be working security for the temple. He will be just walking around and observing the folks that come through. He sure likes his hobby of working for the City of Rexburg Police. They are a good group of guys. Well, I hope you are all doing well. Life is good in Rexburg and we are greatly blessed.
Hello everyone. This is on December 31, 2007, when we went to visit Lori and Chad. They had a nice gathering at their home and we were just saying good-bye. Dale is always so clever :)

Rexburg Temple

This is a picture of the Rexburg Temple last night as we were driving by. This morning I was helping to put plastic booties on people before they entered the doors. It was actually fun! I saw a few people I knew and we all kept busy. More tickets have been opened up because they figured out they could get more groups through per hour than they planned. It is beautiful inside! There's a gorgeous mural in two rooms by the artist Leon Parson. Tomorrow we are working as counters in the afternoon. We're so blessed to have the temple here!
